MonoMonday - Grunge

Today's MonoMonday challenge is 'Grunge'. This grungy image is of a grungy sight (site). The quake damaged carpark building in Manchester St, in Christchurch's CBD, is being demolished, after being boarded up since 22.02.11. 
I had a friend working over the road from the carpark, whose car was in the building that day, and of course cars moved and bounced around - it was a mess. Nobody was allowed in. But M. went in! with a workmate, and retrieved her vehicle.
We've all enjoyed the murals painted on the side; such a shame they can't be saved.

Thank you so much everyone for your lovely kind words written in response to the tribute to Artival in yesterday's blip. I'm sure she would have been very touched. I will be mentioning your responses at her Farewell on Wednesday afternoon.
