Loch Morlich

I stopped off at Loch Morlich on the way back to Edinburgh this evening. It's a bit of a childhood haunt as we had so many family holidays at the campsite here. The evening was so still and, despite the rain, it was just beautiful. I spent about an hour just walking along the beach photographing the majestic Scots Pines that grow in the sandy soil. Finally, time and the midges got the better of me and I retreated to the car for the final leg of my journey.
