Mallet

This mallet was a hallmark of my grandfather's shop.  Tucked into the dirt floor basement of his house, the shop was dark and so jammed packed with wood and carpenter's tools that I was always amazed he found space to work.  Somehow he did, and he produced many fine pieces of furniture and cabinetry.
