A Student Night Out in Leeds

Today was the start of the teenager's new life.  I took her and a packed car load of "stuff" + her fella up to her student digs in Leeds.  Her facilities in Headingley are far superior to the hovel that I had to put up with back in 1986 in Coventry.  She did look a bit puzzled in the kitchen when she couldn't find the dishwasher!  Makes me realise how much I have spoilt her!    She was sharp enough to realise that we should eat at a fancy (very good) Thai restaurant in Leeds City Centre, as she won't be able to afford this on student finances.  I stayed overnight at the Doubletree, where I took this shot from the 13th floor Skylounge after leaving the kids.
