On the Rails

A telephone call at 4:00 am this morning resulted in me driving over to Bradford to collect Harriet after a night out and then taking her back in the afternoon to collect her car from the University car park. 

I took a walk into the centre where I worked in the 1970s. City Park looked splendid in the sunshine (see extra).

A late birthday treat this evening with a "Red Rose" dinner on the East Lancashire Railway. Starters near Bury, soup at Ramsbottom, main course near Haslingden. This is the dessert halt at Rawtenstall.
