Kingfisher

We took advantage of Scotrail's club 50 offer to go to Montrose for the day.
Lovely journey and a great day's birdwatching around Montrose basin. This kingfisher posed nicely (if a little distantly) for me.
Other highlights were a couple of firsts - a red-breasted merganser and a spotted redshank.
