Sir Nigel's Farewell Tour

This is Sir Nigel Gresley, an A Class steam train. This weekend he goes into retirement for 3 years whilst the North York Moors Railway puts him through a refurb.

He is obviously quite famous given the number of people who came to wave him into semi-retirement.

For those of us who live in Pickering he is an old friend and one that will be missed.
