Last light

It was 5.30pm when we arrived at Lamberts Castle this evening for the boy's  (and ours) last walk, but already the sun had set low enough to throw the Marshwood Vale into shadow but just high enough to light Chisel  Beach and the coastal hills above it.
It just shows how much earlier the sun is setting now.
