It's in the eye

Literally. Woke up this morning, went to the bathroom, washed my face and pain hit me. Like I got an eye lash in my eye. Only this time I couldn't remove it. 
I dind't want to go to the eye doctor straight away so I went to work. It got a touch better, but not much so in the afternoon I phoned them up and was able to get an appointment.
Apparently it's some kind of a little something starting to grow on the inside of my upper lid. Wonderful. I got some kind of cream which I have to apply and it should be gone in a few days. That would be nice.
