In memory

A completely different photo for me today. This was taken at lunch time today. It shows part of the Oakley Waterman Spin that takes place each year in Guernsey. It is in memory of a young boy who died age 6. This year, over 500 bikes took part in the round the island spin. H and I watched all 500 drive past the end of our lane, we heard the rumbling from a long way off. It took 12 minutes for them to all ride past.
It has been another lovely day here, beach visits, more ice creams and sadly, a protracted visit to work. Anyone who believes that teachers really work from 9-3.30, just needed to pop into our school today to see that that really isn't true.
