The Mural

We left home abou 11.45pm last night to travel to Standstead Airport for our 7am flight to Pula, Croatia. Our friend has invited us to stay the week with him at his luxury villa near Labin.

We picked up a rental car, a brand new Renault Clio Dci, and followed him to the villa. There was a major cycle race and the delay was something in the region of three hours. Instead of waiting we stopped of at a village and had a walk about.

That's where I took the blip photo of a mural on the wall of the side of a house in Kranjci. So colourful and well painted.

After getting to the villa and unpacking, we had a late lunch at a tavern in Labin. A good size fresh pizza was £4 and a pint of lager or large white wine, £1.50. Heaven!
