Herculaneum

Now the secret is out I can back blip my image for Friday.

We have come to Italy for a surprise birthday party for a friend.  We had to go into 'Blip radio silence' because we didn't want the friend to know we were in Italy or he may have guessed something was going on.

On Friday we visited Herculaneum.  We saw Pompeii last time we visited here but Herculaneum is much less touristy and really interesting.  It was really hot though!  The light was so harsh that few of the outside shots looked much good but the reflected light showed up the interiors really nicely.
