Spider Drama

One of our last Golden-silk Spiders, Nephila clavipes, of the season. She was dining on what appears to be a Green June Beetle, Cotinus nitida, snared in her web earlier in the morning. As I got closer to her I noticed that  another much smaller spider was 'helping' her to consume her meal. I doubt if the large spider even noticed the smaller Venusta Orchard Spider or if she did maybe she was just too full to care.
