The Flags

Yesterday I noticed some local club lads put up the Dublin flags for Sunday's All Ireland GAA football final between Kerry and Dublin.

It will be an epic struggle and should be a good game. I am hoping Dublin will win. I am hoping more that it will be an epic struggle of honesty, style, toughness and fair play.

No harm if there's the odd row as it's a tough man's game with pride of county and of club of foremost importance. I want no man looks to see an opposing player sent off. I want it to take a strong shoulder to put a man down.

There is mutual respect between the players. There is mutual respect between the fans. Long may it continue........Just saying
