Stoking the Fire

The Boys Weeekend continued with a leisurely breakfast followed by another 13 km walk through the city, firstly up Josep Taradellas, then along Diagonal, down to Tetuan followed by lunch beside the Arc de Triomf before a real highlight of touring the wine fayre introducing the boys to the Priorat region. We strolled through the Ciutdella Park alive with African drum rythms, modern dance groups, bubble blowers and barbeque makers before eventually reaching the beach for a beer or two overlooking the sea. Dinner was an impromptu stop served by a passionate man and covering all the range of Spanish food from meat to seafood - called La Tasqeuta 1800 or something similar. Oh, and a wee whisky before bed.
