Reflection

It's been a very difficult week, we needed open space and some big skies. The idea was Southport and a bit of a wander on the beach. But gridlock when we got there - it was the day of the Airshow. 

So we backtracked to Burscough, lunch at the Ship Inn, and then walked to Rufford Old Hall along the Rufford branch of the Leeds Liverpool Canal. Closed to boat traffic at present so very quiet. But a really good walk there and back. The West Lancashire countryside looking as productive as ever, Rufford Old Hall looking good (haven't been in decades - see extra), and the reflections on the Canal excellent.
