Bleak House

Heart rending, not only to leave your youngest, but that she's pretty unhappy with her accommodation, for several good reasons. I cannot imagine what some architects are thinking when they design buildings - the prize, presumably; not the well-being of those who will live in them. Though, as she said, would have been OK if there'd been a friendly face...

We did what we could but, in the end, just had to leave her to it.

And back to a very empty house.
