The Hollywood Sign

We went up to the Griffith Observatory today for a good view over LA and in particular the Hollywood sign. Another very hot day. We also went to the Rock Walk where I compared my hand to the handprints of Johnny Cash. Then to Melrose Avenue for some vintage shops and a flea market and various other sights. I managed to get my meat eating travel buddy into a vegan restaurant where she said the meal she ate was the best she'd had in LA yet. But I've not converted her, despite a vegan peanut butter cup cheesecake.
