A mirror lake

What a stunner of a day, it was so warm and spring like and this morning the lake was looking so glassy. So after watching the first game of the Rugby World Clup (and very impressed with how the Fijians played) decided that it was too good to do chores so drove along the road a little and found a good spot down by the lake that showed off the mountain and the clouds. Had such a relaxing time trying out different filters and just playing. Used a very slow shutter speed with my ND filter and it really showed up the reflections of the clouds.
The extra is more play, an impressionistic view of the spring morning.
Did get out into the garden this afternoon and so good to have a tidy up, there is supposed to be quite a storm coming through overnight, will see if it eventuates.
