Prequel to.....

It was a gorgeous day of 23 degrees.....the last of the sunshine for this week, so they say.

I was expecting a call/email/text about a casting I was hoping to be going for tomorrow, for a commercial with HSBC.....not award winning but did involve a week away and mega bucks!
Unfortunately, the text came at 4:03pm.....you win some, you lose some, and right now I'm losing some.....

However, the rest of the day was looking up!

Spent the evening in the cinema with an old friend watching Prometheus. We planned an early showing, so I raced back from work and with military planning we grabbed a bite to eat. Showing was at 7:30pm.....the plan was to get to the restaurant for 6:40, order at 6:42, the food would come at 7:05 and we would give ourselves 15minutes to eat, then ask for the bill at 7:20 then make it to our seats by the exact time.....haha!

But we got there early!!! So the plan went out the window.....thank goodness ;)

The movie was good, just what I was expecting with some added extra gruesome bits that I absolutely loved.....I won't give anything away in case you haven't seen it yet.

The couple next to me insisted on talking throughout; not exactly discussing the movie, but rather explaining it to one another constantly, then fortunately someone directly in front of them (who was far more affected by their speaking than me) turned around and told them off! HURRAH! Needless to say, not a peep was heard from them after that ;)

I was meant to take a shot of my friend and I in our 3D glasses but upon leaving the theatre I forgot, so this is just me, modelling the specs with a little help from Jack Frost ;)
