Dating

Dating season has arrived, and the first casualties already lie shriveling on the ground.  Dates are another edible that grows along our streets and in our yards all over around here (others include olives, citrus, cactus fruit, and pomegranates).  And like the others, much of their fruit ends up going to waste.  I do my part, however, to take advantage of this bounty, especially the bounty of sweet dates!
