Back to his Roots

Last year Norman retired from his job as a sociology teacher in a secondary school. After a year spent on EasyJet, he could hardly believe his luck when he was handed the keys to the old Bread plot on our allotments. He has vowed to restore the shed to its former glory -that rather rich shade of red seen on the inside of the door. (For my part, I rather like the faded pink that it has become.) His grandfather was a farmer, so Norman considers that he has been able to return to his roots.
