Pretty Polly

The Parrot Lily.
( Alstroemeria psittacina)
From Brazil, with exotic feathery blooms, reminiscent of parrots.
Unusual combination of crimson and green.
Adding a tropical touch to our garden.
Hummingbirds love the plant. Unfortunately we don't have any hummingbirds here!
I have ,however, noticed a lot of wasps!
