Notre Dame

Always impressed by the gothic doorways into Notre Dame. Particularly liked this one with the headless bishop - Saint Denis, first Bishop of Paris, who the Romans decapitated. Legend has it he wandered headless on Montmartre and a few centuries later they built the Sacre Couer dedicated to him.

Folks have picking their heads out the gutters of Montmartre ever since!
