Summer?

One doth not a summer make.

But it was a nice day. I spent half an hour on Leith Links as the swallows (Hirunda rustica) skimmed by, hawing for insects just above the cricket pitches.

They're fast little fellows. Of 80-odd shots, about 20 were in focus, and of those only five were in any way usable, even cropped to the max.
