Central heating geek upgrade

I'd been thinking about getting a programmable thermostat thingy so I can set different heating schedules for the weekend etc.

Decided to go for a geeky Hive system. It sent me a message while I was in the pub letting me know the temperature and asking me whether I wanted to turn it up so it would be warmer when I got home.

Have got it in nice and early so I can work out how to use it before the 1st November annual heating switch on.

Oh, and I'm also looking forward to cashing in my birthday present and getting the room redecorated.
