Kendal Torchlight Procession

I'll come clean from the start; it's been years since I last went to the Torchlight Procession in Kendal. It's just not my bag, really, standing around waiting for the floats, then watching the floats and then going home. 

But you know what? That's just me. I'm the grumpy non fun loving one who can't get into the spirit of the thing. I think it's great that it happens every year and that so many people go along and enjoy themselves. 

To be honest, I didn't even know it was this evening but when I popped out of the office with a colleague for a chat and breath of fresh air, there were our neighbours, the vets*, working on their float. I didn't quite grasp the significance of the bike but they looked like they were having fun. Good on them!
