My new word for the day: dɛlɪˈkwɛs
To become liquid during decomposition.

I think these may well be edible, perhaps the Coprinus comatus: The Shaggy Mane, but apparently aren’t in the shops because they change state too quickly.  These two were smart out of the ground yesterday.  I liked the drippiness today.  But perhaps not if they were on the shelf in the supermarket. 

I’ve been to see my old school pal today.  It’s taken six months for her life to change beyond compare but that was far quicker than she’d have liked. She’s hanging in there, just, and it was really, really lovely to see her again.
