Wideford Hill

Enjoying my day off. Dogs and I off up the hill this morning then I left them at home while I went to ride. Such a lovely day to be on horseback and thoroughly enjoyed riding Maggie.

Back home then to collect my pack and take them somewhere different. Somewhere neither I or Mr Husband have been before... Ended up on top of this huge hill with views to Kirkwall on one side and Finstown to the other side. I managed to faceplant in a big muddy, peaty slop before exploring a chambered cairn. Back home to a slow roast shoulder of lamb.
