This statue outside Mallaig harbour points the way to Knoydart where we are spending the next week .I was worried about getting across there but fortunately our boat was plenty big enough for the five of us and our provisions for the week and had shelter for us from the blinding rain. Our home for the next 7 days is fantastic, all mod cons and creature comforts on the side of the loch, ideal for seal otter and porpoise watching. May the fun begin
