Round-the -Courtyard

What a deluge yesterday : still grey & cold this morning. I go into the yard with the camera & of course he comes too. There's always something to see. I give the birds more Nyger Seed & soaked Mealworm. They've been absent for a while, but this morning Blackbirds, Blue-Tits, Sparrows have started to come back & Chavo stayed in, just looking from the window.

I'm currently enthralled with Richard Flanagan's 'The Sound of One Hand Clapping ' about an area I know nothing about : Eastern Europeans struggling post-war to find a life in Tasmania.
