Windblown totara

We walked from Port Levy Saddle to Mt Sinclair today, along the tops.  These trees give you an idea what the conditions are like on that exposed ridge.  It was a cool nor'easterly wind today, not especially pleasant, but not like the vicious southerly that has caused these trees to bend over permanently.
