Wood Ducks At Ridgefield NWR

Bob and I took a trip out to Ridgefield today...it was actually very very quiet and that could have been the fact that we got a late start!  But I found these wood ducks perched on some snags over the water....they are so beautiful!!!  Also caught a scraggly blue heron eating...not sure what he had in his beak!  Check him out on my flickr set.
