Chincoteague

After a long drive we've finally reached the ocean and Chincoteague right on the Virginian / Maryland border. It's red hot so a drive via Virginia beach in an air conditioned car was no bad thing.

Our hotel room faces the inter-coastal waterway and Chincoteague Bay that is one of the most pristine bodies of water left on the East Coast. Boats keep flying past.

The binoculars are also on hand to spot the odd eagle and Turkey buzzard
