Last days of summerhouse

... because it's scheduled for demolition (tructurally unsound). It's not in my garden, but I hope to bring you an update soon.

A pleasant day at work. Swimming sessions are fun: long may that last! Came home in the rain to find that Steve had bought a meal deal and was ready to cook it. I only did the pudding, which was grilled figs with honey, cinnamon and almonds. We ate all this while watching Bake Off, which always makes me a little uneasy....

And re: the news today, is it even legal for Hungarian Border control to turn water cannon and tear gas on families of refugees attempting to cross the border? Where is the humanity ? Every day, fresh tales of desperation, and intolerable cruelty by better-placed nations.
