Pom-Pom Pink.

According to folklore, a pink chrysanthemum will add the elements of compassion and understanding to the endurance of love. It includes the passion and power of the red, softened by the purity of the white. This love will combine insightfulness with tenderness and hope, providing kindness, warmth and comfort. Rather a nice description, I thought. This is the last of my bunch of chrysanthemums. My friend with an allotment has just called round and brought me sunflowers, sweet peas, lettuce, tomatoes, celery, courgettes, runner beans, apples and raspberries. They have returned from holiday to an abundance of goodies ready to eat. So nice to have fresh fruit and veg and of course the flowers.
