*had her first Dance class at school and LOVED it (no surprise)
*had a good day at school (see above!)
*nailed two new piano pieces, including some new sharps
*read three chapters of her first free reading book and.....
*PASSED GRADE FIVE SWIMMING! I haven't known her want to pass a grade as badly as she wanted this one. And she worked so hard for it the last few weeks. To pass, she had to swim 50m each of good-technique breaststroke, back and front crawl; 25m of fly arms and legs, a proper dive, a tumble turn and a tumble turn used to turn during swimming towards the wall. Her tumble turn has clicked in the last three weeks. Today she was used as the example. She swam her little heart out today, she really did.
