A Glad Glad

I think Len picked this gladioli in the next door garden before he went away at the weekend.

He put it in a jam jar on the kitchen windowsill. It has the  most glorious hues of red and orange which lighten when backlit. I decided to take a macro photo of it which I think best conveys its sensuousness.

In other news, Basil met a young lady on  the Nanpantan Sports Ground who was just coming out of season. Both of them seemed to know what to do. Basil was very energised, which is very surprising since he no longer has the wherewithal to impregnate. I had to reassure the young lady's owner.
