Jubilee Flower Bed Display.

On Tuesday 29 May, Mayor of Preston Councillor Carl Crompton officially opened the Jubilee Flower bed display positioned below the Lord Derby Statue at Avenham and Miller Park.
In total, the display took several weeks to create by the parks and horticultural team.
The crown cushion itself is created from red Begonias and Semperflorans. The surrounding bedding consists of red and white Begonias with blue Ageratums to represent the colours of the Union Jack.
The display is expected to last beyond the Guild and well into the Autumn period.
