Orange Pond

It's my middle daughter's birthday today, and although we won't be seeing her we've had a nice long phone conversation;  my youngest flies out to Manila on another of her jaunts and my eldest is suffering the pangs of her children having just left home, one to university and the elder one has just realised that she wants to be independent.  Joanne is obviously much more maternal than me  -   I think I said Yippee or something of the sort when mine left. :-))   Anyway, we're hoping to see her and Ric this evening and maybe cheer her up a bit.

I came across this unusually coloured pond at the nature reserve today, and I think it's rather pretty, however it smells a bit like sulphur (maybe that's what it is) but I don't know for sure.
