Mucky pup!

Yesterday started off very wet and windy - and yes, it was National Trust volunteering day.  Luckily the rain eased off soon after we started. We worked very hard removing wooden posts and rails, and doing some severe tree and shrub lopping, so that a new fence can be installed. I was going to blip my swollen lip - one of the wooden rails sprung up and hit me really hard in the mouth - but thought that was one blip no-one would want to see.  I think my teeth survived ok, although I'm not sure C's idea of corn on the cob for dinner was the best one in the circumstances!
