Tour of Britain

The Tour of Britain passes here this week in its Northumberland stage, and residents have been asked to decorate with the yellow and orange colours of our county flag, using a bike theme where possible. I had a doctor's appointment this morning and counted dozens of bikes in town, along with banners, flags and bunting. It's king to be quite a Northumbrian party! Shame I will be at work in Durham!
