Fast Little Critter

Went for a walk planning to take some shots of the dry, scorched landscape (full-well knowing that dead grass and dry dirt would not be that interesting...) and found this little guy instead. He kept running and hiding under weeds and even tried to find shelter in my shadow a few times. Decided to go ahead and post some of the dead grass and thirsting weeds in the extras, just so the original plan wasn't a total waste. The smiley in the sand is just a reminder to make the best out of each day :) Autumn and cool weather cannot get here quick enough!
