Roadworks

The trouble with Inverness as a 'city', is that it wasn't designed as a city.  I was barely designed as a large town.  As soon as something like this happens - the whole place grinds to a halt.  The same can be said for the canal swing bridge that jams open regularly each summer.

Busy day at work including a two-hour long call with colleagues looking at a flip-chart in Edinburgh, me trying to follow what was going on. 

Football tonight on TV, which became Casualty for a while in the first half as Luke Shaw suffered what looked like a bad leg break.  Gruesome stuff.
