I'll Race Ya

This North American Racer easily beat out the bee on a flower I was planning to blip! They are common around these parts, folks just call them Black Racers or simply...Racer. This beauty was relaxing in our front yard and was very patient as I got pretty much up in her face with my lens.  I spoke politely and calmly to her and she put up with my intrusion for quite a while. She kept flicking her black tongue out to check out just who the heck I was.Unfortunately I wasn't able to catch that tongue 'action', maybe next time.
