Across the Moor

Good weather for our walk this morning after a stormy night - a very local walk for me.  The view here is across to Cox Tor, Staple Tor and Great Mis Tor and taken from near Bera Tor.  

A little later on the walk it was decided that we would follow an underground leat.  Whilst the entrance is quite wide and high it gets much lower in the middle.  Unfortunately, Tom grazed his head quite badly in three places requiring some immediate first aid followed by a trip to the minor injuries unit in Tavistock hospital. Fortunately nothing serious but I don't think any of us will go through there again.  More photos  on my blog
