The lowdown

On my way out today I was accosted by the architect who is building opposite our house.
He wanted to reassure me about the project, explaining what is being built* & for whom** and when it will be completed***. If we have any issues with noise or mess we should call the office (the number is unmissable, being as it's in a big font on the sign on the fencing).

All is well, in my personal corner of the world anyway. Little miss bossy remains unimpressed with life and the teen reports that beer is too expensive (6€ a pint) in Dublin.


* a single storey without steps (a bungalow, declared Mr K with scorn) not as high as the house next to it, with a double garage to the left.
** a couple in their 70s who seem to already live nearby.
