Another First!!

I was really surprised by all the shock and horror created by yesterday’s blip of my first Mince Pie! It had nothing to do with Christmas coming early, I just love Mince Pies!! If you can eat Hot Cross Buns all year round these days, why not eat Mince Pies if you enjoy them? Anyhow, I hope today’s “First” causes less offense. When heading out to the local shops this morning, I spotted the first conker of Autumn from our Horse Chestnut Tree…

It’s been a hectic day! I’m so behind on my preparations for going away on Thursday that I had to abandon my plans to go Book Club and then into Bath. Adding to the chaos was the arrival of the carpet fitters who spent most of the day fitting new stair and landing carpet, and creating more dust that you would ever have thought possible!!

Sorry to blip and run, still lots of jobs to be completed before bedtime…
