Fennel

Autumn is spreading slowly through the garden with yellow and red hues emerging and spring bulbs which I had forgotten that I ordered come popping through the post.

Our first full day after our Italian break was the time to catch up with some admin, to think of the jobs ahead and to sleep off travel weariness.  Normal life resumes tomorrow.

Meantime, the fennel is beginning to show off.
