i got this journal for mum to fill in last year. the idea is that when it's complete the person who gave it gets it back and honestly it's amazing. i know mum so so well but there's so much i didn't even realise, especially about my grandad who died when mum was 9, my grandma who was then a very young widow, and about my dad who never gives much away.
